Tire Warmers / tires

hey guys so im doing my track day saturday nd i would like to barrow some tire warmers ....im very low on cash and dont have the money to buy some....

also if ya have any race take offs let me know

if its your first TD, your DOT tires should be okay...assuming they are in decent shape. when you get there, ask JOHN from SCRC to check your tire pressure, or ask an instructor.

+1 really no need for warmers if in Novice or even some intermediates. Just give ur tires a lap or two to cone up to temp and make sure u have proper "TRACK" pressure

But if ur set on having some or ur using Race spec tires requiring them let me know. I have an extra set u can borrow

yeah i told him hes not rady for that tire but the tires he running on his bike have no more life so i told him ill give him some tires

Warmers or not, he may still end up on his head. Its great to put them on warmers, the trick is keeping heat in them. If he is just cruising around, he won't have any heat in the tyre. When he does need to use all the tyre, it will be stone cold and spit him off. Just my .02............
