How do you feel if someone takes a shot at you out of no where? Would you call that shooter a coward? In military decision and calculation, he get his job done and he's proud of that. How about that case of the two guys snipering and killing people couple years back? He must have feel real honor in the killing, right?

Well... this is gone off topic a bit.

I think if anything this law is being passed to empower are police force a little more when faced with situations that involve illegal aliens. That is it. HPD is not in the bussiness of rounding up illegals. They do not generate income from that type of work but, it will help cops when you get plowed into by some illegal. Or, get robbed by one... etc.

Lets move out!

This is going way off topic. Cajun was speaking of the military and you are speaking of psychos on roof tops. They may carry similar traits but one is governed by a system of laws and the other has lost the concept of those laws.

Man, that is the code of sniper. So if you shot him in the leg, arm, shoulder or where non vital part of the body, he would be dead? No sir. Like I said if you could shoot the enemy with just one round, then you are one bad .:notworthy

Sorry of going off topic. Just trying to get the honor thing down. Honor is only perceived by the shooter.

Sorry for going off topic...

But I have got to address this. I get the feeling you are confusing anything I may have said with statements that you have made. You said that there is no honor in shooting someone without them having been aware of it. I feel quite differently, hence the reason I offered an instance where I felt there was/is honor in performing such an action. If you do so with malicious intent, such as in the case you offered, then that is an instance of cowardice. If, however, you are behind enemy lines and have the testicular fortitude take a shot when you know that after said shot, you will have given away your position and you do so anyway...that is both honorable AND courageous.

hello... ONE SHOT ONE KILL is part of the Marine Rifle Creed. That's OK though, I don't expect you to know that unless you were/are a Marine. We don't waste no time when it comes to take down the enemy. I'm not goin for an arm or leg that's not how we are trained. I'm goin strait to the chest and you can bet that if you get hit by a round from a M16 in the chest you aint gona get back up.

So does anybody have any updates on this law? Sources or anything that I could read up on ? I had heard about it but hadn't heard too much on the specifics...

To my knowledge all Marines are riflemen? Correct me if I am wrong. I am not a marine but I know plenty of indivuals who are. Anyways.... yeah, I hope this law helps the LEOs out there deal with situations that where a little complex and confusing before.

+1 - The whole killing thing is GAY GAY GAY, if not why don't you camp in the border and start doing it right now, better yet i give you some addresses and i want to see you killing them so i can post it in the internet or better yet show it to your kids how you kill illegals that don't have weapons and are trying to earn a living. Pretty and GAY.

Sorry for the h. t.

Again if this law helps, it is welcome.
