I dunno, I realize that it is a common situation in the world today, but is it "normal"? That is what this commercial seems to be saying. I think it is downplaying the really extreme emotions that would be going on there. I would think there would be a few more emotions than just, "Thanks for inviting me" and "Bye Dad".

I would say that the situation portrayed in "War of the Worlds" would be a little more accruate depiction, the parents are coordial but there is definitely some underlying hostility.

I think it sugar coats the reality of divorce a bit.

Just my opinion, not looking to insult anyone.

when i saw the bye dad part the first time i was like "??" i really can't think of another commercial that implied that the mother and father are not together.
