Highly doubtful that I have any illegal in my blood...slaves were transferred here legally...the creoles were already considered US citizens...

And I think that is a real problem. I also know a German fella who has been here on a work Visa for just about as long who is trying to become a citizen.

Kudos to you and him - AT LEAST YOUR TRYING!

Far from pissy over heah...

Just a lil amazed at the amount of generalized statements you can throw out and pose as facts. I see you apologized for um but dayum...you just come across as the type of cat that "assumes" alot more than you research...ya dig? Being that an "immigrant" is defined as "A person who leaves one country to settle permanently in another"(this implies voluntarily) and I didn't find that to be a suitable word for any of my ancestors (outside of maybe the creole side)...Having immigrant blood is definately not a bad thing..., the country was built on immigration...but I stress legal immigration...

I follow you. So we are ok saying that most of the illegals are immigrants based on your statemnt right? Because they " leave one country to settle permanently in another"(this implies voluntarily)".

They are doing it illegaly but they are immigrants.

So i don't understand what's your point here. LOL sorry

Wow, amazing...When did I ever say illegal immigrants weren't immigrants? Your reading comp. is in a league of it's own. All I was saying was that if you are goin to make general statements...bottom line...you will sound foolish...

As for my point....
