It sounds like flashing the ECU would be better from what ive read here and there. Flashing the ECU seems like it goes more in depth. But this is all for my r6.

Remove all throttle based restrictions
Remove all speed and gear based restrictions
Optimize ignition timing for 91+ octane fuel
YCC-T Race Throttle
Reduce Engine Braking
Load Power Commander maps directly*onto*your ECU
Adjustable radiator fan temps for more efficient*cooling
Adjustable rev limiter
Disable EXUP (Exup must be removed)
Adjustable velocity stack opening point
Bypassing the factory o2 sensor for better throttle response
Quickshifting (with sensor, purchased seperately)
Disabling the factory AIS (smog) system*
Disabling the steering damper (removes code for aftermarket units)

I dont see why you would even get a power commander unless you had money to blow and want autotune or maybe traction control from bazzaz

x2 on my R6. I'm no track expert, but it made a considerable difference for my situation.

Had my 06 r1 done last summer. I only have K&N, velocity stacks and slip ons. I weigh 205lbs. With stock gearing she will now lift 1-4th gear on her own after about 8500rpm under full throttle. Id say its worth it.

my 10 R1 is flashed...with no pc

raised idle = less engine braking = smoother/faster cornerspeed transition
removed throttle butterfly limit at full throttle due to US restrictions = more power up top
bike fires up in A mode = mo betta

the flash should have but didnt help throttle on/off which sucks but optimally id like a pc with autotune to smooth things out a bit.
