No brake lights?

Just prepped my bike for tomorrow's track day at TWS (Texas World Speedway).

Why... do we have to disconnect the brake light? Seems backwards to me, wouldn't we *want* to know when the person ahead of us hits their brakes?

No it's destracting, plus they might be braking in the wrong places.
Take out your headlight fuse while you are at it.

You know, I tried that, but on my GSXR the instrument cluster wouldn't work when I did that. It refused to work with any of the following fuses pulled:

signals
headlight (low beam)
headlight (high beam)

I found & unplugged the brakelight connector in the tail section instead.
