At 6:12 (when the ford slows down behind the little truck that turns right) the bike should of shot round on the left side. At least thats what I would of done, then take off in hopes the ford rolls over while trying to keep up.

that Redneck. I hope he gets felony charges. You don't take the law into your own hand for a road violation like that and try to run someone off the road while they are riding. That could have easily killed the rider.

first of all i would have killed him, a vehichle can be considered a deadly weapon, second of all the truck almost hit a few of the other bikers as he went off into their lanes while they were riding by

first let me say i am disgusted with the action of the driver in that truck, after watching the video my stomach is in knots, glad the rider was able to pass with out wrecking. it is beyond messed up pulling a move like that on a rider/driver. now onto the flip side of how i feel lol.

i would expect the biker to not cross a double yellow to begin with . i love to go fast like anyone else and am capable but choose not to pass where there are double yellows. take it to the track to begin with and there wouldnt be this problem.

surprised we havent seen this on 149 with all the clowns who haul out there.

we have. back in 07 there was a small group of about 10 or 12 of us riding out there. on our way back about half of the group wanted to go a spirited pace, and the rest of us lagged back. when we met up with them at the gas station on 105 they asked if we saw a white truck pulling a trailer. they explained that the truck tried to run them off the road, and even took shots at them with a shot gun when they tried to pass him. they got around him and fled, and we never saw the truck again. one member had buck shot pellets embedded in his jacket.

people are so stupid, like it's the wild west

instead of calling the police and asking for more patrolling they do this. bet that was a sobering moment seeing buck shot in the jacket

Guess you have a point, I would only hope that someone would catch a plate number and get the police involved.

An F150 loaded with a quad in the back on the brakes slowing down to 20ish? (not sure how slow) could of easily been passed in the blink of an eye on any sport bike. The truck driver wouldnt have enough time to try and swing out and clip you.

This is just my opinion but I am young and stupid.

So many people on the WERA board sided with the trucker.

Oh well.

The guy in the video seemed to have flipped due to the bike passing on a double yellow. Personally I know how the driver feels, when I am coming of of I-10 and a cager crosses the double white line (which is a ticketable offense) and I have to manuever to avoid being hit. It pizzes me off. I guess it is crossing the double lines that makes people go crazy.

I would like to point out to a few people that this did not happen in Texas. It happened in Kentucky, where it is not a moving violation to cross a double yellow line in low traffic and when safe to do so. Watch the video again there are no cars coming and they have a clear view of th road ahead. They were not breaking the law.

If the biker in the front would have slowed down he might have really gotten killed.

So you then take off really fast and race down the road and endanger more people??? (Like the building, possibly church, with all the cars and stuff along the road). I think it would have been better to slowly come to a stop and then confront. Cause apparently the guy wasnt trying that hard to kill him. If so, he would have just plowed into his a$$ at the stop sign and not even slow down

Link? I'd really like to read it. As it stands right now, I can't imagine the price of crossing a double yellow being death. The WERA boards, I assume, is full of track riders? I have never been but I certainly would like to take a looksee at the different mindsets on this.

track guys in general always frown upon the street rider, no matter what they do. its just the way it is.

I found the thread. I read 37 pages. I didn't get the message that they sided with the trucker. They're saying the same thing that some of us have said here... all parties involved are stupid... even that Mongo moron. A lot of misunderstandings and short tempers is all it is really... but I think they're all on the same page somewhere in that massive piece of thread.

Wow. The WERA board sure is lively.
