Not the same bike.

SFV 650 is not the SV650.

In fact while they tried to "replace" the SV with the SFV, they still made the SV650 since it was still selling so well.

I am aware that they were sold simultaneously, but they are the same sort of bike. But since the Glad is newer it is better according to your logic.

The Gladius may also be the ugliest bike in the world, whilst the older SV looks great.

eww Honda's design team was on crack when they designed this trash. Headlight can grow on me, thickness of tail is disgusting, girth is too much, and paint, paint sucks too...07-09 CBRs ftw

I agree with OP. The new CBR looks like .

The way the side fairing have that big split crease down the middle just breaks up the lines.

The 03 to 07 600rr look WAY better.

its always funny to see people judge the looks of a new bike based on the exhaust. especially since thats almost ALWAYS the first thing to go anyway.

new bikes are way better designed, IMO. not so bulky and they dont have the fat on them anymore. if you want trunk space, get a volvo.

Are we looking at the same bike in the OP? That looks pretty fat to me.

why? I don't know about everyone else, but the last thing on my list of must haves on a bike is the "trunk" space. that is what tank bags and back packs are for

I'm sure most will disagree but I think bikes are getting uglier.
this kind of opinion means we are getting old.

i personally like the new look of the cbr however i do remember when the zx10s came out a couple/few years ago and i couldnt help but think the head lights looked as if they were cross eyed. still think they look stupid

I dont always want to carry a backpack or tank bag.

My RRs have for room and I dont mind, they have both been converted for track use.

I am more of a function over fashion person.

XR100 my first bike, I still haven't sold it.

The only thing ugly with the newer model is how they put the plate hanger on that tail. If you change that then it's a good looking bike.
