Even if you are moderately fast, these won't make a full day unless it's really cold, or you're riding at Houston. Stock up for winter. Will last a full day and a bit more in Houston. I could only do two 6 lap sprints at TWS (Texas World Speedway), Oakhill, or Cresson. It is a sweet sprint tire, and at 60.00 that would almost make it worth contingency if you could podium. Also remember that this is the previous genaration Michelin which has next to zero feed back as opposed to the power race. Feels fantastic right up to the point you find yourself on your back wondering what happened. (Personal experience)

Alright, there you have it....These are great for colder climates if you have tire warmers or not. As for most of the riders on here I'm sure they won't be wearing down the rubber as much as you Buck. Still this is an excellent deal and tire to put you money on. I don't do favors for people that often so if you looking for tires for the track send me a PM. Prices are subject to change and get even lower depending on volume. You can pick up these upon request or I can ship them to you at cost.

These tires a not to old Patrick, there are being phased out and I've been doing business the past 2 years. Who ever walks into your shop and asks you about how old are your tires? Let's look at your date codes before I decide to buy. I know of many shops that have had tires on the shelves for years. Still to sale the tire for Retail. The Michelin Pilot Race 2 series, although being phased out is still one of the top tires in the world. The Semi-Slick tread pattern maximizes the contact patch, especially at full lean angles. This is still a great deal which I am doing for MotoHouston members.

If a racer or someone with track experience knows what their doing... they would look at the dates! Street tires have a much longer shelf life as compared to DOT races tires.

Ok, with that said....back to the Top.
I'm getting them under $90.00 shipped and want to buy as many as possible.
These retail over $200.00 I've got 6 on order and the Warehouse has over 200 in stock but won't last long. Send me a PM if interested.

How long do you think a dot race tires shelf life is?
