Motorcycle TxTags....

I have a TxTag for my bike and instead of giving me the nice little sticker that we get to put in our cars they gave me what looks like a pager you get at a restaurant to tell you your table is ready. WTF? They said that these are what motorcycles get because of the windscreen or lack of. I imagine they are referring to a cruiser with a windscreen that stands nearly straight up but sportbikes have nearly the same degree of angle that cars do, what gives? Anyone else have one of these table pagers or a better question is does anyone have a sticker instead of this BS I'm not sticking this on my bike

Will it work there? I was told it had to go on the windscreen as high as possible, and I don't feel like a 300 dollar ticket.

I just put it in my jacket when I know I need it.
you won't get a ticket. they will see you have a tag when they check the plate.

Same here.

I keep it in my chest pocket and I forget about it. Last time I felt something in there and looked cause I forgot what it was. That pocket is just big enough to hold it, almost looks like it was made for it.

mine is in the tail too. I asked the same question when I got mine though, expecting a little sticker and you get the old fashioned block. They just told me to put it in a locked storage on the bike.

I was going to put it in the trunk, too but having multiple bikes I just kept it in the jacket.

Trunk as everyone else has stated. If it does not get picked up, they take a picture of your plates, run it against their database, see that you have an account and bill you accordingly for the toll.

Had mine in the trunk, never get charged when using the EZ lane but the arm won't go up at the on ramps..

moved it up under the screen, just in front of the gauges.

You can't see it as the base of the windsheil is blacked out anyhow.

put it in your jacket if you are worried about a ticket. I've been pulled over just to see if i had an eztag. it was in the trunk, he ran the the numbers on the tag to see if it was active or something and i was back on my way to work.

Mines stuck with velcro to my windscreen. I just leave it on unless I go somewhere and I know I wont be near the bike...and that is not often, dont like to leave the bike alone, haha.

Thanks for all the replies, I was wondering about this. In the trunk it goes!

Virus, that was a joke at the toll instructions expense.
