JD Power Associates Helmet satisfaction 635x564
I never heard of Icon, I personally have a Shoei Abe Replic X-11 and I like it.

I also LOVE Spies -HJC Drudi design (we love Texas, don't we?) but look where it sits in the top list...

unless icon has changed the way they manufacture VERY DRAMATICALLY in the last 3-4 years, there is no way they compare with Arai

The RPS-10 isn't the only helmet being rated in the HJC catagory, most likely. I believe their entire lineup is lumped together, and HJC makes a large variety of helmets with various ratings of quality, many of which aren't high end.

Yes, thanks, I forgot to put the link. I couldn't believe it when I saw it.

I mean, Icon ties with Arai because of...colors!??! It's a helmet dumb , it#s not a sticker!

Bah, that mean that you don't always need to make a good product to win the market, just use nice colors!

I have the same Icon helmet and love it. It is a little bit heavier, but fits my fat head better than other ones I've tried on

i had a icon helmet. it was heavy and moved NO air at all. very hot to wear. my shoei on the opposite spectrum was light and my head actually got cold because of the wind storm inside.

do you remember what model it was? I don't have any problems with ventilation in mine. It is quite heavy though.

I've had mine since '06 without problems

Granted, they are cheap, but they have to pass the same DOT and Snell testing that all of the other manufacturers have to pass.

Don't get me wrong, like I said earlier I prefer my Scorpion, I just don't understand all the hate towards certain manufacturers.
