Best places online to buy helmets?

Just wondering if you folks have bought helmets online, what your experiences were, and if you think the price you paid was fair or not. List them up!

Might want to check with site sponsor, Motorcycles Unlimited first. I think they offer discounts for MH members. And it's always good to support local shops, assuming the price difference isn't too far off.

Here's an example of where they had a helluva lid for half price. If I didn't already own $1000+ worth of helmets I might have pulled the trigger on this one.

I've only bought things from Motomummy and STG, who were both great. Usually if I buy anything I buy it from a local shop. I've gotten things cheaper local actually, and never paid more than maybe 5% over what I could have gotten the same item for online.

online, I've used STG, new enough or whatever it is now, and motorcycle closeouts all with good results.

locally, I just bought my RPS-10 from 2 wheel toyz for almost $10 cheaper than I could find online.

buy it local if they have it in stock. support your local brick and morter (but avoid the stealerships)

how are you buying a helmet online without trying it on for fit first? im thinking some folks here might be in the wrong size helmets. :(

my advice, find a place with A LOT of helmets in stock. places with just a small selection in stock are more likely to talk you into sizes they have there on the shelf. if they the medium fits good, try a large and a small and be sure. but from the place that has them all.

I always buy local unless its ridiculously over priced. I dont mind spending a little more with the local places.
