Going from lubbock to Dallas and need a question answered

So im going to Hot Import Nights in dallas next weekend. Its about a 5 1/2 hour drive from lubbock to dallas.

Im on a 06 gsxr 600 with about 8000 miles already and i was wondering if its safe for the bike to do 100 the whole way there? i know ill get better gas mileage by doing 65 but i dont want to ride for 5.5 hours when i can ride for 4.

im gonna leave at like 11 and try to get there by 6. I plan on stopping every 45 minutes or so for a cig/gas/drink

I would take my car thats actually supposed to be in the show, but we ran into some problems tuning it and blew the motor.

there are plenty of times when i ride over 120mph and im cruising with one hand on my hip. just ride the bike at a comfortable speed and dont worry about the time.

be sure to wear the proper gear if your riding all night though.
