I got lucky this weekend. On Sunday, I was trying to get to the TSBA meeting point for the SMR and I was running late. I was booking about 120mph or so in the Z when I spoted a car trying to hide behind a barrier. I slam on the brakes hard and all of a sudden, then lazer kicks on full lock on me. I was looking for him outside the car but there was no one outside the shooting lazer. The Cop still turned on the cherries and pulled me over. He asked why I was speeding and I told him that my medical condition was causing me to speed (I told him I had to use the RR in an emergency situation) and he let me off without asking anymore questions once he saw the wheelchair in the front seat. Whew that was a close one. I took it easy the rest of the day. I figured it was my lucky day.

My lil brother is at A&M, and he got pulled over two months ago on HWY 6. 1100 at night, on his '06 GSXR1000--156 in a 65. The DPS that got him said that he was going to cut him a break and write him up for 120, b/c any higher he'd have to take him to jail. I didn't believe it, but I've seen the ticket!

We're both of the "I'd disappear -but not run-from the police" camp. He was pulled over by a second trooper that was waiting for him a couple of miles up 6. The trooper that originally saw him arrived a minute or so later.
