SW Sugarland Sunday 5/29 Meet

Okay MH'ers, a long deserved meet is due for all the SW and Sugarland riders. I am planning on doing a meet every Sunday at Gridiron Wings & Bar on Highway 6 and Dulles behind the Whataburger(next to the Sears)!
So here's the details and the good stuff. I know the SW sunday morning ride starts at the starbucks in towncenter. I want it to become a weekly routine to end at the bar mentioned above. Now, I have been in talks with the management to create specials for this event and have some fun activities like poker, lunch specials and photoshoots with the biker and models. Sounds good right? Well now it only can happen if people respond to me and let me know to confirm this event. Let me know what everybody thinks.
I chose this day because of the sw sunday morning ride and thought it would be perfect to have a nice lunch and poker after a long ride everybody can bond over food and drinks and have a good 'bike meet'. Please let's make this happen guys. And all riders are welcome from all over houston. Norh south east west doesn't matter, the SW deserves a new PP.

Its a great idea BUT......... (just me speaking) after the ride most people just go home and ether take a nap (Sunday_rider) or others go home a spend time with the kids, wife, friends, personal duties...etc...

So with that said... Once again it is an AWESOME idea because if one day I just wanna go seat down and relax after riding and get some food then this would be a great place to go but its just going to be hard to have a lot of people to do it after the ride.. most of this take off and I never see them again until next sunday. LOL

We try to have a lunch place after riding but most people dont make it so we stopped doing it...

but once again... its a great idea and we should try it!

^^+1 to Floyd's comment^^

Sundays for us is more of a riding day than a M&G event which is why we have our Wed. Night M&G for ppl that just want to get together and bond over food/drinks. The only exception is during moto gp or wsbk in which case we all go to a neutral spot and watch the race together and split after that.

Like Floyd said, we all have things to do after the ride so everyone just goes his own way after the second break at the exxon station and dont see each other until next wed or sunday again.

I think your idea is great however for us Sundays are for riding and Weds are for hanging out.

I think you should do it. There are people who have church in the morning and are not able to really get out till the early afternoon. Do it for a couple of weeks and see how the turnout is. There have been talks about a sugarland meet for quite a while now. Wasnt that place called "wings and drinks" lol

talking about moto gp and swbk... when is the next one??

Oh... by the way... every Sunday Ride its like a M&G more then really a "RIDE" .. this guys seat for hrs at a gas station just at their bikes...

its like a meet to meet and not really ride day for us....
