They're beautiful bikes, and I understand they handle and ride extremely well for their size...

That's why I like it. Big V6 between your legs with a huge wheel base...it's like riding an elephant

As for the Kawasaki Vulcan, like other cruisers, I can't get past the old-world look of it. There are too many other bikes that have weird headlight plastics/shrouds, low seat and then paniers....it has no flow IMO. Take the paniers off and remove the weird looking front-end plastics, and it may look better. Of course, my judgements are soley on looks...I am sure it would be a relaxing thing to ride with the comfort of storage and apparently a radio lol.

I got the chance to test ride one when my friend was looking for his first bike. Its kind of awesome to ride but it just feels so freaking bulky.

I looked at one last week with my wife, we are looking for something that we can comfortably two up on longer rides.

It's a nice bike but it felt very heavy when I picked it up. Might just be me since it has been so long since I owned or even sat on a cruiser. My last cruiser was a Valkyrie though and I remember it feeling more balanced/lighter with about the same weight.
