Possible meet and greet air/bike show.

We still have to get this cleared and OK'd with the staff out here but we want to get a rough estimate of how many would be possibly interested.

Every year we hold an airshow out at the "community" my parents have a house at. This is an "Experimental Aircraft" show, nothing like blue angels and like that however they do have a BBQ and what not. People fly in from all over texas to come meet up and greet everyone. I work almost every airshow out here and was thinking it would be real cool to have a meet and greet out here for MH'Ride Smart, a Bike/Plane show would be pretty baller IMO.

The catch, the ride from league city is roughly 2.5 hours. We are located about an hour away from college station.

Last year we had an aircraft stunt team do a pretty cool show and did a missing man formation in honor of a guy that crashed his plane out here.

Anyways just post up on here if you would be willing to make that long ride and i will start talking to the board out here to see if i can get it approved. If they do agree to this then i can get the date for the next airshow as soon as they tell us.

BTW if you take the backroads the ride is amazing nothing but trees and fields all around little to no traffic on the roads.

we are about an hr from college station closer to I-45, college station is a much better reference point than madisonville lol. Madisonville is such a small city no one knows where it is. BUUUUUUUUT we r still 30 minutes or so away from there even yet lol

sounds like a really awesome idea, definitely out of the box from normal M&G's. Is the 2.5hr estimated on highway driving, or backroads?

That is from 518 League City area taking I-45 almost the entire way. there are other options buuut they would be much longer. You can also take hardy toll as far as it takes you and cut alot of houston riding out and takes probably about 20 min off the trip depending on where you are coming from.

Where is this exactly? Hilltop Lakes? The pilots on here probably know every strip within 100+ miles.

Thats the place. I sent u a PM, but i will say it out here as well, i talked to my dad who is a mimber of their flying club and he said he doesnt think they will go for it due to the liability concerns. He told me he would bring it up in one of their board meetings. Im hoping they will agree to this cuz it would be a nice way to introduce people and see new stuff not just bikes and cars.
