some cages work better then others on certain bikes... ive seen my fi outlast someone else's sick cage, ...but the new sick cages are beast.

seems like the sick cages on the 04 r6 r small??? i dunno it looks like they wouldnt really protect. i had a 905 cage dropped the bike from 12 at idle and that was all she wrote for the 905 cage.... had to weld it in 2 places AND 1 of the sets of threads stripped out after barely even snugging it down. im hoping maybe it was a cage or something lol but every 905 cage that ive seen are broken in spots so im probably going with an FI cage this time. Heard pretty good about them

All depends on what your riding? Your type of riding and your skill sets. as you get better and more developed as a rider you will know what parts you need and what parts you don't. Could write a whole article on cages and stunt bike set up. Too much of it you just have to experience to understand.

Its on a 2004 r6, it was dropped from 12 1 time and the cage broke in 2 spots had to reweld it, it just seems that FI are more durable from what i have seen. Any opinions are definately appreciated.

the fi cage needs to be replaced on a regular bases if you are falling alot. Def. Not the beefiest cage out there. However I would rather replace a cage than a frame or a motor. Too strong of a cage will just make other parts break. Cage is supposed to be a give point.

I run a-town customs everything one my 05 r6 and love it.. I've dropped it from every angle possible and nothing. The cage holds up great and won't roll onto tank..
