Anyone in SW have a spring compressor I can borrow?

Maybe we can make a deal, haha. I want to paint my springs while I'm tearing everything apart, but I don't want to ghetto rig something that will scratch the paint when I put them back on.

or.. buy springs that are the color u want already... so you don't have to bake them in would be a good idea. go rent it at autozone/oreilly/napa/advanced auto. should be free with a deposit. That or 10$ worth of zipties.

I did some reading, and people say they won't fit. The Strut spring compressor looks like it will though, I may just take the shock to the store with me...

Why does it matter if you scratch the paint?, nobody is gonna see them lol

I have some spring compressors as well, if you still need them.

Thanks guys. It was for a cruiser like this, so they're every visible:

s res 94

I was trying to black it out a bit with black springs, but now I'm thinking they might just look better chrome. Haha.
