HEADED TO AFGHANISTAN

I am headed out today to Afghanistan to work. I am a civilian working with the Corps of Engineers on various construction projects. It is a real treat to work with our Military men and women, who are the best in the world. Everyone please ride safe and see you in 4 months when I come home for R&R.

Usually about 3 to 4 times what you make in the states. But you also work more. Most jobs I had worked in Iraq were 84 hours a week, 12 hours a day 7 dyas a week. So that is twice the hours as the states. On this particular project we will work 64 hours a week.
