get the scorpio alarm. its AWESOME. the sensitivity on it is fully adjustible and it comes with a pager device. it tells you if someone is touching it or if someone is rolling off with your own bike. the loud alarm on it will definately caught someone attention

do you have a garage? theres lots of specualtions on lo jack and alarms might not even deter hard core thefts. The lo jack will help you recover your bike.....but they might have busted it up in process of parting it or dumping it. Better to get full coverage insurance?

Scorpio makes a good alarm. Lojack makes a good recovery system if your bike gets stolen.
Speculation? How about over a 95% recovery rate?
That's not speculation or "I heard blah blah blah on some internet forum", it's fact.

I had the scorpio...waste of money...go with the lojack

The Scorpio is either too sensitive or not sensitive enough...no happy medium.

Then definitely get the Scorpio, the system not only pages you, but lets you know how you're bike is being disturbed.

I wouldn't go with the Scorpio, if on the too sensitive side...it will be set off by a car parking next to you. If on the "not so sensitive" setting, someone can sit on your bike and walk it out the parking lot...total waste of money...

That's definately a possibility...

I've had no such problems with either of mine on my personal bikes, or on the customers whose bikes I've installed the system on. I stand by my original recommendation.
YMMV
