I was thinking the same thing at the beginning of the season. Colors slowing him down or sophomore slump? Digg the red/white scheme though, beautiful!

quite right, it's part of the onboard telemetry which will measure front fork compression and rebound rates and distance of travel. It's basically a potentiometer.

It will also play a role in Traction Control etc
