I missunderstood the question. It may look like the pipe runs through the suspension but it actually doesn't it runs behind the other pipe parallel then wraps over the top.

yes they might look good and sound really loud like a drag bike..... but...

these would be just like running straight piped which will hurt the bike in the long/short run and cause damage to internals....

That is a bit wrong. Like I stated before I recommend a PCIII to fix fuel mixture issued caused by this and ANY after-market high flowing exhaust. I also stated previously that I can install baffles in any system you like. Please don't assume you know the physics of my 100% mandrel bent pipes. The engine damage your talking about is burning the exh. valve due to sucking in cold air. The pipes on the CBR are actually quite a bit longer than stock and carries great exhaust velocity. You will not have any problems with your engine as long as you tune properly. If I am wrong then I am wrong, I come at this statement with years of mechanical knowledge backing me. PM me anytime and we can discuss the dynamics of exhaust flow, velocity and back-pressure at your convenience.

i see what your saying but not 100% on if it would or would not cause it due to elongating the exhaust as youve done, guess i would need to see some testing done but anyways.. not trying to your thread.

definitely a new twist to exhaust for sport bikes. i think with baffles and some dyno runs and comparing to stock runs and other aftermarket exhausts you could fine tune the design and maybe get a patent.

try to turn this post away from advertising that you sell them or mods will delete it. keep us updated on your progress with the design

Yes we are trying to get a dyno as we speak. It is hard to put my designs out there without sounding like i'm advertising. With a dyno we can put down some hard numbers and also we can start tuning some turbo kits that WILL kill some motors. Casualties of the war between traction and HP. LOL

that looks bad . needs a lower fairing extension like the Taylor Made system has IMO, but thats some fine work.

the bends give it a unique look. i like that part like on the yellow cbr. would like to see it with a baffle and a optional resonator insert.

Relax mate. This is a new design and we'd like to know more and understand it better. Different. I also was concerned because of the straight pipes for two reasons, back pressure and decibles. I don't want to leave your shop with an illegal nor unsafe bike.

I really like what I've been seeing and I will be coming into your shop this week. You really are onto something here. I am excited.

deff onto something but i think it needs a lot of testing before ide even consider it a safe system to run on any of my bikes or anyone i know. you cant just judge by looking and measuring. and he knows that. sounds like hes working on it. like i said once you get the dyno results and do some testing and comparing ide like to see the results and with a resonator insert and baffle design

I'm sorry if I came off defensive. I have put alot into these designs and yes some of which would not pass a decibel test. I understood that many (including myself) have outgrown the ear piercing glass shattering noise levels that a GP style pipe can produce. That is why I have been developing a full system that incorporates a silencer out of sight under the bike. These are more time consuming and costly to produce so the major challenge has been to keep them affordable. It involves completely rebuilding the header to make the 4-1 transition closer to the front making room for the more bulky silencer... At this point I have used a section of a carbon fiber devil racing highmount.

Are these stainless or mild steel?

These are both mild steel. I can make them from stainless, as we do with our turbo manifolds. But as you probably know the cost of materials more than double, also the pipe fit must be absolutely perfect for an effective tig weld. Also the tig work itself is much more time consuming. I would have to charge so much for piece, I haven't found anyone yet willing to pay that much for a pipe that isn't branded with a riveted on piece of aluminium. But for now till GZ is well know for our quality and originality we will stick to the mild mig recipe. Thanks for you interest.
