Ground Zero Freak Exhaust

This is the GZ Freak on an 08 cbr1000. Wacha think? Normally these get wrapped in header wrap but in this case the customer liked it so well he left it naked. Later on I went back and cleaned up some of the visible "proud beads" left behind.

Not so crazy bout duals on a bike. Fab work looks good though.

If he lowers it will it hit where it goes through the suspension?

I build custom exhaust, subframes, swingarms, uppers, stuntcages, and just about anything else that involves sticking two pieces of metal together in a artistic yet fully functional way. Also my shop paints, stretches, lowers, and I use the best Powder Coating Services in Tx. On our wish list is a dyno. so that we can tune some turbo setups that we build.

The "dog bones" or lowering links move away from the pipes when lowered. This bike has a Roaring Toyz lowering kit installed in the pic.

The sound is very intense. I baffled a set I put on a 09 zx6 and it was tolerable in the city. This is a freakishly loud pipe. If you want to be noticed and heard, mission accomplished. This customer is thrilled. I am working on a full system that would bring the 4 into 1 much sooner, this will allow me to install a carbon fiber silencer behind the lower fairings, cutting the noise.

Both of the Systems were built in one night. The long wait is for the material.

"How much" is a hard ? to answer. Each bike is different each customer wants something diff. the best way to put it is the zx pipes were 350 and the cbr was 475. As these become more popular i will be forced to come up with a standard design and price. As of now its case to case much like tattoos.

As with adding any exhaust to a bike, the power changes. Pipes like this will reduce low/mid range power, and increase top end power.
