Don't see many cruisers out on the rides or at the meet and greets. A few of the cruiser guys also have sportbikes, so maybe they ride them instead. I only joined a few months ago, but there hasn't been a cruiser-specific meet that I know of. I just show up to the sport bike M&G's.

So far I've seen one other cruiser at a M&G, and two others on a group ride. I've heard that several cruisers go on the Fayettville rides, but those are a little too -to-the-wall for me.

I'd be interested in this...I'm buying a H-D Iron 883 in about 12 hours and getting forward controls put on it, don't know when it will be ready, but I'm in the Cypress area close to the Cypress/Katy line. I'd be down to cruise some roads and talk bikes and all that. Anyone have any ideas of a date/time/place? I'd suggest, but I just moved back 10 months ago and not really familiar with all the outlying areas of the area.

We (all bikes) have meet & greets on our respective sides of town on Wednesday nights. Sometimes there are others during the week. Group rides on the weekends. Again...nothing cruiser specific, but we could probably set one up. Just shy away from "spirited" rides unless you can drag knee on your cruiser. The problem is that there are so few of us and we're spread out. May be hard getting us all together on a regular basis. ...I organized a ride last weekend. It was a slow pace for noobs, so I figured it would be a nice cruise for our V-twin riders. I posted an invite in the cruiser's lounge. Only one showed up.

I saw your post man, but I didn't have a bike yet

Those of us in the NW area could do a cruiser ride and maybe have a cruiser-specific meet about once a month for all riders? Something as central as possible for the meet. I just want some seat time and go out for enjoyable rides.

i ride the same places the sport bikes go... along with everyone else who rides.

dont really attend meets or join on the group rides anymore. seems like its just a bunch of nerds trying to prove who can further.

bet if we put a cruiser meet together it'd be a different vibe and i'm open to that.

You should come to a SE meet on Wednesdays because we don't have any of that. We have cold beer, good food, good people, and some nice scenery to look at.

One of the reasons I went with a cruiser over a sportbike. I still want a sportbike to have some fun on, but i like to ride for the ride, not to fit in. Let's start throwing some ideas out there

Pinball is good at keeping the pace doable, enjoyable and enough straights to see some scenery. Try his meets.. I like em.

See first post. If he hosts another one (Which is supposed to be next weekend), I can Meet up with a few at I-10/Hwy6.. There's a Sam's Club there we can meet up and ride to Pinball's Spot. Then hook around.

What day and time (if it's known)? Sorry, don't know which post you are referring to. I'm picking my bike up in the morning and I get my schedule tomorrow, so I may need to change shifts...please say Saturday morning so I can work Saturday night ..long story short it gets me more hours and makes my employees happy. They love working with me over the other manager haha .

Yea usually Saturday AM.. get a GOOOOD friday night's rest. Even though it's only 2-3 hours of a ride, it drained me. Started at 9AM, ended roughly at noon, ate at Fudruckers... by the time 1:30 rolls around I told them I'm gonna bounce. They ran the backroads going home I just took the freeway and slept as soon as I got home. Don't know the exact time and date just yet, I just know that Pinball is planning to host another easy ride around next week. PM me ur number and I can shoot u a Text when he confirms.

If you're interested in a cruiser ride/meet n greet, post one up in the meets and rides section. Even though this site primarily caters to sports bikes, there are several of us around that also have cruisers
