Is your bike your only transportation?

Right now its mine.

transmission went to on my Cherokee and my 61 is down while I change the motor.

Tell ya what, bikes are fun when they are just toys.

I did it once for 6 months. I hated the rain, heat and humidity and most of all Houston rush-hour traffic. Showing up to work in wet business clothes with up hair was no good.

Other than that I still looked forward to the ride every day, I just wouldn't recommend it unless it was a last resort.

Yep.

Next month will be one whole year that I have been motorcycle only. Kinda gets annoying at times. Helmet hair, rain, carrying around a helmet and backpack.

But I have managed. I can't wait until I finally get a car.

Sucks cause I have a wife and 2 kids. I need to get these cars going asap. Tranny, 1200 bucks with me removing and reinstalling. Car, 1400 bucks to fully machine motor with me doing all the work.

I feel like this.

I live riding, just not in city traffic. Give me the hill country all day long, but the city, you can have it.

Was bike only for a few years, not always a good thing though i still love to ride on the street . If you're sick, just feel bad, weather is really bad, not the best time to be on a bike-ups your risk a lot. Now i ride when i want, ZCar for a DD, Vette and bikes for whenever.

The motor on my truck went out last month, so i used the r1 for daily driver. My r1s starter on the r1 went out last week so now I use the '81 Honda trail 110 for a daily driver. Life is great! lol

..I miss the A/C of the truck and the r1s ability to go over 45mph!

No thank you. I'll keep my motorcycles as toys only. As a daily commute, I would not like it one bit.
