I think that came out wrong. Given you have 10+ years experience and almost 15k posts on here I'm pretty sure you really do have buddies who's busa's will run 230. lol. But I would imply that the guy that rolled up to quizno's in flip flops, shorts and blonde highlights on his "gixxter" telling me his buddie has a busa with a yoshi slip on, pc3, stage 3 jets, and light weight fork seals that does 230 might be a goober.

OK. I gottcha. How would he have PC3 and stage 3 jets? The light weight fork seals have to be awesome though.

I think the problem there was mindset - some of us are old enough to remember a time that a street legal bike breaking 200 was pretty much ludicrous - so we laugh about "that guy" and his bullshit stories and the arbitrary way too fast speed we just throw out there needs to actually go up about 50 mph lol

Lol, yeh I think this is where i screwed up. I should have put "my buddies busa does 290 on farm diesel and propane injection, and the only thing that has been done is the majugulator mod."

I wanted to paint one of my bikes like this. I asked the DPS - they said . . . . .
"NO"
They told me it's now illegal to even wear caps or T-shirts, anything that says POLICE on it.
I said, "What if it was Italian or German, but still black and white?" They didn't know about that other than they implied that I might get pulled over a lot and hasseled about it.

Not having to worry about money means having a lot - - - Is that kinda what you're saying?? ha.
I thought you had an 07 for sale - my bad.
I was told I could paint a track bike or show bike like this, but it could never see the road.

It's funny.... My new neighbor's son came over a few weeks ago while I had CoronaBusa's bike in the garage working on it. The guy was mid 20s, came over to check out my bikes and see what I wad working on etc etc. He told me he had just sold a TLR1000 that would run 220mph.... So he started asking me about my Busa and stuff, he asked me how fast it would go, I told him it had been 225mph once and 215-220 a couple of other times....he looked at me like there was something wrong with the bike...he had this puzzled look and said "not bad".... Lol..... I told him it "should" go 240 next time out and he looked at me with that "I'd hope so" look.....

Afterwards, me and Coronabusa just laughed..... That TLR wouldn't do 220 falling out of a 747 jumbo jet....lol

The you hear these days....

If I had not seen it with my own eyes, I would not believe Josh went 203.xx in the mile.
