Girl boots?

Any of the ladies know of some decent riding boots they'd recommend?

I'm wanting to get some for my gf who rides with me sometimes. She's got her M license already... Workin on getting the bike at some point...

Anyway. Wanting to hear any recommendations for boots that aren't too speed racer looking or butch doc Martin-ish

oh also, where is a good place for her to try them on? Cycle gear doesn't have much selection

try the setups. I have worn mine through a few crashes and they have held up great. Not as "racey" looking and around 100 at motorcycles unlimited

I went around a lot of places, ended up finding at the time the cycle gear on the north side had the most to try on, got the above on a clearance special for about $60. I didn't buy them because they were on clearance, that was luck, they were the only ones I could find that fit right that had decent protection.

edit:
Ok, image isn't showing up... they are the all black frank thomas boots...

i guess im looking for something more casual... hmm.. something that protects the ankle, but doesnt go waaay up the calf like a race boot.. well vented too, since we do like in hot-as- texas.

see.. i got a pair of these that i wear all the time, because i can wear them to work and still walk about and look normal. something similar for girls?

Leah has the Frank Thomas Jasmines and says these are very comfortable for general purpose riding. Seem to be well built. Not any lift in the heel if you're looking for some extra height though.

I am out of state for work. Second, I don't make moves as I am married. Third, I hope you aren't the jealous type that thinks talking is making a move because life is so much better when you aren't a jealous freak. I find it complimentary when people admire / attempt to converse with my wife. Now, if SHE gets uncomfortable, it's a different story.

Lastly, my is tingling for those spikes
