Can't afford a GoPro? How about $8?

This was on another forum, thought I'd post it here. I bought one and have it at the house, but haven't tested it yet...shipping was really fast.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...d=233000237066

Video taken with said camera:

Definitely not the same video quality and there's no pre-made easy suction cup mounts, etc...but its also $8...

Link to original thread:
http://www.kawiforums.com/two-wheele...check-out.html

Hopefully I can test mine out soon. It does require a microSD card, so I'll have to steal the one out of my phone. I'll post my results. I got it for use at TWS (Texas World Speedway) on the 30th.

And like I said...not my video and I haven't tested it out personally, so I can neither confirm or deny that the video I posted is truly that camera, but I have no reason to suspect that the OP on the other forum had reason to lie. If it sucks, sorry you spent $8...but I fell for it too...haha.

I'm not going to pretend I know what a GoPro casing looks like up close, but the thread says "he has the camera inside of a clear Tic Tac box taped to his helmet."

Yeah, saw the thread is on kawiforums and he says tic-tac box. Kinda want to give it a shot. There's slightly better quality ones still under $30 from what I gather.

I'm impressed with the camera adjusting between lighting conditions.

They don't come with the memory card... so keep that in mind.

A video review of the said camera. Looks pretty legit. I just bought one. Can't wait to try it out! The guy rides a scooter, so you can see how it works too out on the road. Funny how he mounts the camera to his helmet.

Defintely NOT a Go-Pro case. Look at it slowly and you can see he slides it down into the tic-tac box, you can even see the little emblems molded into the bottom of the box on either side of the hole in the middle.

Interesting. I was looking for a small cheap camera I could take apart and mount directly into my helmet.
