Yeah.. but try riding that Z1000 for 3-4 400 miles days at a good clip... and you'll be cussing the guys with the fairings.

Guess it all comes down to what you want the bike for... I know what Solracer is thinking...

That's my complaint about naked bikes. They look awesome and great for commuting around town, but not so good with a head wind heading down the highway.

Anyway, I too have been checking out the Ninja 1000. I sat on it a couple of weeks ago. It wasn't bad but needed some different clip on's for me. I'd like to take one for a spin.

I've heard the Ninja 1000 is a GREAT do-it-all bike, from hooligan, to corner carving, commmuting, blah blah blah.

I'm a huge Kawasaki fan, and see a market for a bike like this. I wouldn't be opposed to picking up a used one a few years down the road. I love my '03 Z1000, but the wind does wear you down on the freeway after a few hours. (Looking on a puig or similar screen to help with that.)

Mic did a ride with us to San Antonio on his Z1000... when we got to the house he died on the floor and said "no mas!"

Now he has a Sprint and just complains about the saddlebags causing it to weave a bit at 100+

Very tall first gear. I race on one honda was faster on a second gear roll on. Just an ok ride fun though. To me very similar to the old one. First gear is to tall.

Sexy looking bike. I just don't like how the exhaust is. Not a fan of that. Needs to come out of the tail section. Then it would look like a true corner hugger...
