initially I was thinking this would be the equivalent of a "car show", where they have all the major brands, some exotic/expensive ones, and the vintage cars. But then I looked it up and seems like they only have vintage/custom bikes, and not any sport bikes on display. Is this true?

TOTAL waste of time and $$$... For being a bike expo...it was a HUGE disappointment! Was more of a home and garden show with a tiddle of biker for the men

Heres a summary for those who missed it: Hand massages, bling apparel, puppy adoptions, hot tubs, and scentsy with a little bit of leather and bikes mixed in....oh but you can buy a beer for $8 or Tasty nuts for $10. The swap meet was shameful...more candles and bling and a couple tables of what appeared to be a pile of stolen pick-a-part fairings and such. There were a few cool show bikes. Almost NO gear to view/purchase. The stunt show was pretty cool, but I felt like it lasted only about 10-15 minutes.

I would have to agree. The saving grace was the yamaha test rides. Not many people doing the test rides because they required a helmet and the type of crowd that showed up did not have one. Made it easy for use to do multiple rides back to back.
$4.75 for 20oz bottle coke, $4.00 for bottle water. large amount of booths with differant biker for groups

Yes, it was a total waste of time. The coolest part was the ride up there, and the ride back.

stunt show was the only thing worth seeing, nothing elese there exept a lot of space to fill. If you guys know the person who runs this show, tell him to get in contact with me I'll help him put it on next year!

Needed about 10 riding gear companies there, 5 helmet companies, and a whole lot of mod/after market !

Sad that big event suck so bad! Not to mention $7.50 beer/$5 coke/$7 hot dogs??? WTF!!!

Agreed, almost a complete waste of time and money to see a bunch of As Seen On TV ! Cooking shows, really? WTF?!?! The only good part was the demo rides. I hope they step up their game a lot if they have a "2nd Annual" show.

I feel cheated. I think I would have rather sent my money to Nigeria.

Yeah, it did suck and was very dissappoiting. We walked around the whole thing like 3 times just trying to waste time and see something interesting. I really wanted my money back, the only thing that saved it was the Mobile Cigar Lounge next to the stunt show, thats sh*t was cool. WILL not be back next year unless they actually bring MC sh*t to show. I was really ready to drop a few hundred on merchandise (Gear, Parts etc) butnone could be found. Horrible

Yamaha demo rides and Seventh Letter(stunt team) was the only real saving grace that made the trip up there worth it. From the commercials, I didn't really expect much. Just a bunch of older bikers, set in their ways, trying to live out their greaser days and their spouses gone crazy, doing whatever sparks their interest while trying to fill their day...

Colonel: You saw the stunt show and couldn't say hi? I was the guy inside the lot shooting video!
