Stick my gun in their face for attempting to steal my property?

A few years ago, as one of my Instructors finished setting up the range, he turned to see a student sitting on his personal bike. He promptly explained to the person that if they were ANYWHERE else on the planet right now, he would've been stomping him into the ground at that moment.

When the Instructor called to let me know I was probably going to get a complaint on him, I told him "Well, the guy's going to feel pretty funny when I tell him that I would've said the same thing".

I had a guy I work with tell me he sat on my Duc. I barely knew this guy and he didnt ask. A lot of rage went through me when he said that, but I just laughed it off later cause he was riding a sv650 that had been wrecked 3 times by him, and he owed like 6000 on it still. I guess it wasnt worth getting fired over.

Hmm... woulda thought there was standard protocol for this. Those who ride know the #1 rule is never sit on someone else's ride. You kinda gotta take it for granted that other people just flat don't know better. Happens to me; I just yell out "Get off the bike!".

If in a better mood I'll ask politely for them to get off, and offer convo in exchange. They're just curious, and bikes sure do grab attention. My main concern is having something stolen, dropped or damaged. Barring that I just man up and deal with the attention.

Dont let your friend borrow your ride or your girl, they will throw a rod in either.

I probably wouldn't mind all that much...on the large scale it's not really a big deal

Curiousity killed the cat

I let a guy sit on mine when I ran an errand the other day. He was about 3 years old though and his mom asked.
