That's still a funeral. I think you are talking about the funeral procession.

don't think it was a funeral, maybe a large ride of one or more clubs.
I know black motorcycle clubs are pretty popular among some blacks.
I ride occassionly with my buddies ,but we are usually about 10-20 deep when we do.
Hope everyone had a nice weekend , whoever you are ,whatever you ride , be safe.

Was there a chrome and neon convention in Houston this weekend?

No, more so because it annoyed me that they felt entitled to stop traffic and inconvenience & endanger the hundreds of cars on the freeway.

They were harleys, so yes, all cruisers.

I don't know who those riders were, but that would have me off too. That kind of thing could get dangerous quick. It's not like 610 is a great highway to be on in the first place.

These post always get split between the riders that dont think its right to endanger other motorists on the freeway to those who dont give two if someone gets killed because of this.

I'm with you -- funeral processions belong on surface streets, preferably on foot (short distance), or not at all.

Use of a band and 2nd line procession is welcome.

One biker telling another biker to not speed in his cage and just let the bikers shut down a freeway for the fun of it....I just love me some Motohouston.

Funeral processions seem chaotic and dangerous, especially the escorts. Those old bikes weren't meant to be flogged stoplight to stoplight, CHiPs style.

You know, I,myself, never have but have been invited on one and I kindly reclined. I would never wanna be part of suck a cluster that those huge group rides turn into.
