You are right on about the military and those that help others. They have earned respect.
In life you usually get respect by simply giving it.

I'm GDI. Independent. That's the label the frats gave me in college when they would approach me to pledge. I asked them what do I get by joining? They said, cool friends, great parties, good networking and lots of hot chicks. I told them if their was so good, they should stop coming to the parties at my house. I already have friends, and chicks dig me

I'm just not a "joiner"

Cool, i like your attitude, when is your next party? We wanna come to your house. Me and my brothers are always looking for good parties and hot chicks. Just say where and when, we would love to come! We promise not to steal your , break your , drink all your booze, leave burn out marks in every room, but we might have to let a few of the hot chicks leave with us when we are done after they ask to go with us.

Dude,

It's not a party unless we everything thing up. And chicks come and go e every day. Sometimes they get shared. The goal is to have fun. This isn't the country club.

Might be a little bit. I just got back from surgery 10 mins ago for my wreck at MSRH. I rode Harleys for 15 years so all bikes are cool to me. Even have a couple really bad HD tats.

Let me recover some and we'll look at something soon.

Swinging hasn't got a thing to do with it to me, but I gotta be honest, I have a couple of brothers that do swing. Oh wait were you talking about dancing?

Overall, the COC and many of its members or clubs affiliated with them seem like pretty good people with good intentions.

The thing I take issue with is (and I don't know if this is everyone, just certain clubs, or just rogue members out there) there seems to be this idea that if you decide you like your own design idea that resembles a 3 piece patch, you HAVE to get it "approved and recognized" by the COC before wearing it around town, regardless of whether you call yourselves a club/riding group/whatever, and if not you may be met with certain hostility. If so, it seems pretty hypocritical to in one breath say that you're all for protecting riders and their freedoms they should be allowed to enjoy in this country, while in the next saying that the freedom to wear any design you so happen to like while riding is null and void.
