I bought my first bike 4 months ago. I wanted an R6, but no dealership had one that I could even see in person. One day I was in traffic so I decided to go to the Yamaha dealership to see if they finally got one in. Well as soon as I opened the door, not only did I finally got to see one. But it was in my favorite color, the color I wanted for my bike! I walked up to a sales guy and told him to write up the contract and I was taking that bike home.

Easiest sale he ever had probably!

yeah ... i remember being scared tless as i drove off the lot ... a light rain just started, i had 15 miles to get home, i hadn't been on a bike in say 15 years and i was now on a 900cc monster ... sure the guys at the dealership were taking bets on how far i'd make it before crashing ... made it home and now u can't get me off the thing

WE all have to start somewhere! I didn't mention that my true first two wheeled vehicle was a mini-bike, powered by a briggs and stratton motor, centrifugal clutch! It was fun though!

Hahah.. That was mine too. A hand-me-down from an older cousin. He crashed it and it caught fire and didn't want it anymore. :laughing6
