Honestly, all situations need to be evaluated at the time of the event with your own personal moral values. That is my final statement on the subject your honor.

I agree with this 100%. I have an 18 year old son--i wouldn't allow him to either stay over night at his girlfriends house OR have his girlfriend stay overnight at our house. AND....he respects my opinion on things like that...SO..he wouldn't ask OR sneak and do it. We have an open relationship and discuss things like , drinking and drugs.

I'm blessed, he's a great kid.

This might sound really square....but stopping them from having is an education process that starts from day #1--not something that you can suddenly do when they hit puberty.

I was raised WAY differently from how my son was raised. Me...couldn't wait to have . My son...wants to wait for the right woman (yes, I know this is hard to believe in this day and age.) I'm not taking credit for this, but he's always been involved in church, Youth Group etc...where they teach the kids about respecting themselves and their future partners. I sat in on one of the lectures--it was amazing. Made me wish I would have heard the "love yourself first" message when I was a kid.

Just my humble opinion
