Fuel tank vent tube may be kinked or the vent in the tank is plugged up. Next time it does it, immediately pop the gas cap and drive it again and see if it clears up. If not, do a fuel pressure test when hot....ride the bike with a fuel pressure gauge installed and watch it.

Spark plug gap is not the problem. It's a fuel system issue more then likely....probably the venting or the pump going AWOL.

my 04 gsxr had the same symptoms, cutting out at high rpm range and cuttin out/off after 20 min of riding, turns out it was rust clogging up my fuel pump, might wanna check it out with a good mirror and flashlight.......hope you find a solution...

Sprint Ride Smart

My sprint got goofy when I ran it for ~30 min or so once upon a time. I don't think I ever figured out what fixed it exactly...I did plugs, air filter, vacuum hoses, valves clearance adjustment and oil at the same time..The vacuum hose end fittings were cracked and the valves were a bit tight...

These are all great ideas for things I'm going to check out. Some of these I hadn't thought about and I appreciate all this info. I have a feeling it's going to be one of these things!!!

Thanks again guys!! Look around for us at JCI - Home Depot - or maybe Twin Peaks!!!
