Ebay protects the buyer. Some times too much when you are the seller and you get some NUT buyer. But you look like you found a bad seller atleast you got your money back

True. I'm glad the only thing taken away from me by this jackass was my time.

lawl, in one of the pics I pointed out "except"...which is correct. In my mind the whole time, I thought it said "accept". I think I knew their lack of authenticity so much my mind conjured some grammatical errors. Ha, ignore that.

You should of given a negative feedback. Why Neutral?

Only because he complied, and I walked away with all my money back.

But if I would've known he would list back up my gloves I returned, I definitely would've given negative feedback.

, at least I gave a warning to other buyers and filed a counterfeit seller report to eBay.

Looking at his list sale items now, looks like he took down all of his fake Alpinestars gloves listings. I checked last night, and he had 1 GP Pro and about 7 GP Plus gloves listed. I highly doubt they were all sold within that short amount of time. The GP Plus gloves have been on there for weeks.

If you're reading this, right. Maybe your karma won't be too tainted.

Thanks for the heads up. Not knocking what you did. I was looking for the negative feed back and couldn't find it. Then I saw the neutral and what you wrote. The neutral is a little harder to identify is all.

me, I been suspicious as ever since I saw plastic wrap over the rubber but they looked so real, even when I compared them to the real in the store. It's been a month and a half or so now and I just noticed the knuckle part on my left GP Plus is CRACKED in half. Threads are being undone. I just sent a message to the seller telling him I suspect they are counterfeit and I want a refund ASAP or I'm reporting to paypal and ebay. Then I searched "Fake gp plus gloves" in google and found this thread of his ebay username on the first page. me, I am so . He accepted my offer of 110$. Wow I am so dumb to not have found this out earlier.

I'm glad you stumbled upon here. I pulled the trigger too soon as well since it was the last pair, and the impulse buyer in me took over.

I only reported to eBay but haven't to PayPal. No response from eBay ever since May 11. You may have better luck with PayPal. This fake gear is a major safety issue, and scumbags like him should be severely punished.

Have pictures? Good luck with getting it settled. Let us know how it turns out.

Looking at his feedback now, looks like another person found out his A* GPX gloves are fakes.

The lesson here is buy from authorized places and not just look for the bottom prices...remember that this gear is what stands between you and the pavement...normally if the price is too good to be true...IT IS.

I doubt these fakes are any worse than the trash gloves A* has been putting out. My then new GP Techs started splitting down the sides of the fingers after about a week and a half. I'd probably trust the fakies more.

As for quality...it doesn't feel too bad. The pics make it look real shitty, but they look nice. I'd be cool with it if I had KNOWN I was buying a replica and wasn't paying a high price for a known brand. But when you dish out thirple digits, you REALLY expect to get what you're trying to buy.

Either way, the seller got back to me and offered a solution, I really am impressed. I feel bad for the guy if he's genuine, that must REALLY SUCK. But then again...he did accept my offer of $110 for supposedly 190$ gloves...we'll never know.
