Andy (Metric) does very good work. Truly a motorcycle shop with full capabilities, suspension know how, and a dyno. Sometimes hard to schedule in and out, but well worth the money and effort.

Yeah, they sell stuff for what you can get it for on ebay. I'm buying something from them at some point... Maybe I can get a smokin' deal on an sxv

There's a few guys at Mancuso that are really nice and know their stuff. Some.... i'll just say they're typical sales guys... but hey, that's their job.
There were 4 mancuso guys... riding 3 ducs and a trike, one was a manager.
Mancuso got the Ducs that were on the show floor at ExImport.

The sales guy attitude kinda turned me off too (REALLY pushy)... mainly cause I was buying used, not crazy about what they had, and it was the first place I stepped in the door of. Mancuso on 45N was REALLY laid back

Beats me. I got a bad taste of them back in the early 90's when I was buying Harleys. There was a lot of monkey business back then and they were a big part of it.

Was this the Mancuso on SW Freeway? The guy i talked to was really pushy too. When i was still in the market, I paid them a visit just to look around. I told them I was looking at the Aprilia Shiver and the Ducati Monster. He had a few monster's around but no aprilias. He then tried to sell me on the Yamaha FZ8 which he didnt have in stock but showed me pictures of. I am looking through the pix when he literally asks me "well what do you think? Should we get some paperwork started on this?" What??! I come in here telling you specifically what i'm looking for, and you try to get me to buy a completely different bike that you don't even have after looking at a few pictures?? Goodbye.

In the end I bought a Shiver from Houston Superbikes for a good deal. I'd highly recommend them if you're looking for a Duc or Ape.

Angry Thrilled Eximport finally gone

I have to say after too many bad experiences at Eximport with lies, overcharges, poor quality service and everything else bad you can think of I think it serves them well to be out of business.

Mancuso generally has a good reputation and I hope they can run an honorable business through the lingering stench of the previous scum that occupied that building.

My best wishes to their success.

If you have a new Duc or one in warranty, then you have no other option other than Mancuso, like it or not.

I am waiting for the new Mancuso to get the Triumph line up and supported. The Triumph Street Triple R really intrigues me. I bought my used Kawa EX500 from the 45S Mancuso location: and I am satisfied with their sales department. They did not want to come down on price though, and the delivery took a week longer than promised, but patience is its own virtue. The new Mancuso dealer is closer to Sugar Land, hence interest. Negotiation of price on a possible trade in on a new bike could be interesting though, especially a 2012 STR. We will see. Thanks for the info.
