Mancuso to Reopen Eximport location

While at Cars &Coffee Show at Vintage Park last Saturday, there was a group of Ducati riders. I was wearing a BMW shirt. One of the riders approach me, gave me his Mancuso busines card, and said that Mancuso is going back into the SW Freeway Eximport locaiton with Triumph, BMW, and Ducatti. They will open next month.

What happened to eximport? I thought they had a nice setup and were doing well. Granted its been several years since I've been.

I never did business with them as that they were out of my price range but they had some really nice customized sportbikes and at the time... that type of store was unheard of. Such a shame they tried to exploit that...

+1

I was not aware they close and shutdown.

The shop was very nice and well setup. Never really deal with them.

So basically Eximports change ownership and name?

Mancuso is getting into BMW, Ducati & Triumph? the same as Eximports.

You kind of have to work to get a good deal at mancuso (as you do in most places), but it's still infinitely better than Stubbs on 59. They also have a HUGE inventory of not just used bikes, but new bikes as well.

From what I hear Houston Superbikes has two of the best technicians around and really fair prices

and Mancuso has a Ducati tech but im not sure his background, I've heard both ends of the spectrum...good and bad....but I do know he used to work for Houston Superbikes and they told him to leave

I don't know much about Metric

Who gave you their card?

I bought my bike from Mancuso SW just as they were buying out Eximport (or so they claimed)

There's a few guys at Mancuso that are really nice and know their stuff. Some.... i'll just say they're typical sales guys... but hey, that's their job.

Eximport was a rip-off. Way overpriced on used bikes. Glad British cycles will have competition now on BMW and Triumph.

Waylon from NW Honda/Ducati is now at Houston Superbikes. He is a good mechanic.

Andy tuned my Aprilia Ride Smart 125 perfect! He also told me about a recall on my MV one month before I got a notice and had me on the list to get the new sub frame. Gotta be paitent...and make an appointment. Worth the wait, serious machine work

Waylon will be putting my newly rebuilt motor back in my Aprilia Ride Smart 250, he's VERY knowledgeable and does awesome work. Their prices at the store are the same as their online prices. I've had nothing but good experiences with them.

Mancuso SW and Carlos' team is great! The only dealership that I have enjoyed dealing with in Houston. Hopefully that same work ethic and service will carry over to their new venture.
