Even Jordan rides crazy on the streets. This was funny also inspiring.

Yea.. he says that the races was not equal, and had to figure out a way to make his team win. saw that suzuki had so many upgrades and all the top of the line equipment AMA had to change the bike policies. Funny how he came out to ride w/o the proper gear and the experienced riders were like "ahhhh you ned to get some gear b4 you heart yourself"..

Nice story. I like watching that kinda stuff. I had no idea he rode...course I knew he had a racing team but didn't know he actually got out there and stuff. He needs to start back making his riding jackets again. =)

I have to admit, I quit watching those races because I got tired of watching suzuki win every race. so yes, there needed to be some "leveling" of the playing field. every other motorsport levels the playing field, it's only right.

I'm not sure if the video addressed this, but supposedly the idea for the race team came from him getting some instruction from Jason Pridmore. Who was also one of the first Jordan team riders.

I'm guessing all you guys talking about how great a man Jordan is missed his Hall of Fame speech?

He's an odd guy...

http://www.aolnews.com/2009/09/12/jo...assy-to-clown/

No time to hunt for a video of the speech, but if you can find the highlights(lowlights) by all means post them up!

Man, I've ridden out of that BP station across from Rock N Roll Mcdonalds in Chicago so many times and not once did I get to ride with the man himself...it's cool though, I did get to see him play his last championship game at the United Center in his second threepeat in 98.

Not less of a man at all, he's a great athlete obviously, but after watching his Hall of Fame speech live, it def knocked him down several notches in my book. Not less of a man, just alittle more odd.

He's a great guy and down to earth. I met him at Mid-Ohio in the pits and he's probably one of the nicest guys let alone TEAM OWNERS out there. He enjoys the sport and isn't just out there for money like a lot of them...
