Smile SW Sunday Morning Ride May 15

pp46

Time: 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Place: PP 46
La Madeleine French Bakery & Cafe (open for breakfast)
2675 Town Center Blvd N, Sugar Land

Kick Stands Up @ 8:45AM

Route: The usual!

Join our SMR #11 of 2011....

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please read some basic common sense rules for this ride:

A. keep at least 2 bike lengths distance between bikes at all times.
B. pay attention to the road and the bikes in front of you.
C. ride in staggered formation on straights.
D. No wheelies or passing in the same lane as other riders (use another lane to wheelie/pass).
E. When passing cars, don't slow down after the pass, leave room for the riders that may be passing with you.
F. do not ride out of your comfort zone!
G. keep a constant speed, do not accelerate to pass on the straights and then park it on the turns, its all about being smooth!
H. YOU MUST HAVE INSURANCE UNDER YOUR OWN NAME, NO EXCEPTIONS!

*Please make sure your bike is running in good condition!

**We will be making a few changes on how to make our rides a bit safer for the noobs but please understand that "You" are solely responsible for your "Own" actions!

NEW RULES:

1. If you haven't ridden with us for more than 4 SMRs please stay with the second group, if their pace is too slow for you then ask anyone of the regulars in the first group to follow you and see if it is safe for us to move you to the first group.

2. Most of the times we just cruise from the meet spot to the back roads so please hold your position during the ride in a staggered formation!

3. The purpose of our group ride is about having fun and not speed, so please focus on enjoying the ride at a speed that is comfortable to you instead of trying to go faster than the riders in front of you.
