The 50% that wants to sell it, really wants to sell it.

I'm pretty sure this is going to be my last summer riding it then just hang it up for good during the winter. Sell it off to someone else that wants to really douche it up on a "Gixxer" lol...

Anyone else out there been through this?
I think your decision was already made... I don't like it... and I have a feeling after a while you wont be happy that you did.

There have been really good advice given here already, so i dunno what else to add... Except....Give it at least one go at a track day before you do. Is all I ask, just 1.

Oh, and you can always ride mine too...

I think everyone understands how you feel so far from what I have read. Give it time and see what happens. I think you would kick yourself in the for getting rid of your bike. I don't know what yall went through on that ride other than I was going to go & I bailed out and didn't go. If I was there momma would take my bike and prolly put a for sale sign on it. She is seeing all these RIP threads and she is getting tired of it. I guess I can't blame her. But there is just something inside of me that would die if I stopped riding. Whatever ever decision you make it will be the right one. For you and you only. Nothing else would matter. I was hoping to get to ride with you one more time other than GSS but you had to get home early that day. If not we know you will still be around and will come to the meet n greets. But......if you sell your bike and go to the meets. You just might be frothing at the mouth for another bike......maybe..

Just for clarification, me wanting to sell my bike has been a long time coming.
It's not any single event, or having kids or getting a house or getting married.

I've been thinking about it for a while now. Like I said, several reasons.

I've gotten some really good advice and thanks for the offers guys.
I love my bike, no doubt. I love to ride.
Man, I was looking at the pics from the 3 Sisters/Austin ride and those are some good times.

Ok guys, I can take you up on that offer.
Gimme roughly a month.
Any ideas where?

It's no definite that I'm selling my bike yet though.
Summer is just beginning.

I'll make my bike into a coffee table before I sell it. Too much sentimental value I guess and too many low ballers. It's worth a lot more to me then the 2500 or 3000 and older '03 750's market value seems to be. It's just a toy; one that I love quite much.

I don't know why people get into this dilemma. If you need the money, sell it for sakes. It's just a bike, metal and plastic. There's 10,000 just like them, literally. Sell it if you're on the fence and buy another when you see some guy blow by you having the time of his life.

I definitely don't need to money. I don't remember posting that I did.
The money would be nice for other hobbies though. That's about it.

Come on and do the 22nd, I'll be there. Fastline is hosting it, believe me, they will make it awesome, not to mention the MH BBQ is there as well.

Too soon. I JUST put in vacation for the BBQ, might not get it off just yet.
Problem is, I'm scheduled to work those sat/sun nights so I have to request 2 days off.

Cool Vito, sounds like a plan.
I'm looking at my work schedule and looks like July 16th is gonna be my best bet.
Ivan, Leo?

EDIT: Vacation requested for that date...
