Warped Rotors

Is it possible to get warped bike rotors lathed? Bike is an 03 sv. I only ask because new rotors are $$$ and so are new pads

e: When I use the front brake it feels like the front brakes grab and let go, so I'm pretty sure they're warped anyway...

i think there are places that straighten them out. wouldnt really be 'lathing' or turning in the normal sense of a rotor tho. i tink they heat them up and flatten them. not sure tho.
