07 Gsxr brake problem

Hey MH ,i'm having some trouble with my 07 Gsxr the front brake whenever i use it,it does not release back the way it suppose to it kinda still holds and eventually after like 30-40 sec it releases,do you guys have any idea how i can fix this problem. THANK YOU!!

Sounds like it could be a sticking caliper. Might wanna take them off and clean up everything real nice.

Did you recently replace the levers? There is a whole topic on the internet with aftermarket levers installed on GSXRs and sticking brakes.

It happened to me, and stopped the bike...

levers are machined / made wrong. the part that pushes the piston inside to compress the brake fluid is machined to big. therefore it does not release all the way. this hapans with those $50 ebay levers. solution. mill, machine or file the pushing part down 1/32 at a time, and recheck.

check if they are too tight!... if you didnt with the brake fluid then it has something to do with the way you installed them, then that means its too tight... or you did something wrong!
