Easy, pick the M3, sell it, and with the money buy all color combinations of the S100RR...

I am trying to get used to the inline four right now so i havent ridden my duc in about 3 months or so. The s1000rr will be the fastest bike on a straight line but the 1098 still gives a lot more confidence to at least 10 mph higher on the turns just because it gives you so much more feedback, the bmw has a much stronger motor but lacks the feel of the vtwin, maybe with more time i can get used to the bmw and then ride it like it's supposed to, right now i still dont trust the front end of the s1000rr!

First I am a bit disappointed in the video. I was expecting the lid to come off and see you, but over all good vid. Second it is good to be cautious until you feel comfortable very prudent. Although I have seen the sunday ride vids and I do question my second statement.

Did the M3 driver really think he was going to beat the s1000RR on the track?

But I would choose the M3 to keep, power and luxury. the S1000RR is not my thing. and probably too powerful a bike for me.

Man i wish that was me riding it it took me about 7000 miles to really get used to the vtwin so i will at least wait another 3000 miles on the s1000rr before i can switch to race mode, right now i am in between rain and sport mode most of the time.

It was wet.....a lot of racers actually like wet racing. They say it's physically easier because you just cant push as hard(due to lack of grip) so he may have been taking it easy to keep it upright. I know I do when it's wet.

Have you set up the suspension on the S1000R? Pretty sure the 1098 has more front end weight bias so you may have some tuning to do.

Body position can affect it also..
