Although those names warrent a laugh and an applause for boldness...I think that you should respect someones legal name regardless of how ridiculous they may be...I personally think the name "" is a joke but should that be someones name...I'll call them by their name. Now if your friend intends to call everyone, ridiculous name or not, by their last name prefixed with the "Mr.-"/"Ms.-" terminology then fine...but if he intends to only subject those of whom he believes to have names which he deems a bit unbecoming then I think he is being a bit asinine...

And, I thought a friend of mine had it bad... her name WAS (changed it) Liberty.

Not so bad, until you realize that her last name is Bell - and she was born on July 4th. :down

OMG! I can't believe anybody would name their kids that way. But if that's their name, yeah. I'd probably call 'em that. I'm not sure I could say it with a straight face.

How stupid do you have to be to think giving someone a title as a name would give them respect.

There are a lot of names that might have been popular in the past, but aren't used any more because parents don't want their child teased. Kids can be cruel.

I got one that will top all of them. I have a friend in NC who is friends with an O.B. nurse who works on a maternity floor. Some young girl came in to deliver her first child (a baby girl). She was bent on calling her daughter syphilis. The nurses asked her if she knew what that word meant and the girl said she did but thought it sounded pretty. How would you like to have a name like syphilis?:shake
