Oh man sorry for your loss! Did you have any locks on it? I think I've seen you parking at the east garage. I'll keep a look out for you.

I park my car in the East Parking Garage and see the bikes as I leave. I assume this happened yesterday (Monday)? I wasn't on campus yesterday, but I'll keep an eye out.

Great, now I'm hesitant to take my bike to campus.

Nah. People are quicker to accept the loss and buy a Suzuki.

LoJack on the next bike? :( I'm going back to UH next semester...will they allow bikes to go up in the garage? You have to have (and pay of course) for the pass, but don't they have motorcycle parking on a little street near the power plant/technology building? Near the big courtyard by MD Anderson? Those garages are dangerous. Concealed carry for campuses should be passed...good luck with the recovery.

I'd probably drop the money on a pass and go up in the garage next semester if you'll still be attending. Only way in or out of the student garage is with a pass...it will only be seen by people who regularly park up there, and you can even park it near the stairs where the cameras are. So much crime happens on that campus that's probably your best bet. The upper levels of the parking garage ironically are probably the safest place on campus. Some kid got mugged last semester near the motorcycle parking of that garage. I'm amazed some of those nice Mercedes on ground level are never broken into.
