for the techies out there

Is there a program to acess a remote computer? my sister's in San Antonio and she needs some work done in her computer, but she's not very tech oriented, so I would need to get into her PC and do my thing. if the program is free, even better. lol

Windows XP? You can use remote assistance, you may have to walk her thru it on the phone. It's built in....

Only WinXP does the remote sharing however, he would have to have WinXP Pro to do what he wants to do. Timbuktu is a great program but costly.

The remote assistance thats built into xp is cool but the only hard part is getting someone who doesn't know much about computers to give you the correct IP information then getting them to allow requests from someone on the outside. But don't get me wrong, its doable......
