Video gone, I'll need to do some research on this so I can see if its something I need to safeguard against.

Full coverage FTW though!

sorry but the first thing that came to mind was- that would be funny if the dog took off running and pulled over the bike.

On the 03 and o4 CBR600RR, there is a diode on a 3rd wire to the ignition. Without that diode that is inside the ignition under the key being activated, the bike is not going anywhere, the computer is disabled. You would have to turn the ignition which breaks before it turns. Almost impossible to steal hotwiring it.

Ask anyone that ever tracked out a 03 o4 600rr, you have to wire that diode when you put a switch in place of the ignition.

Why they got rid of that on the 05 and forward, I dont know.

Actual quotes from the original video.

"Dont do this, it is really easy and you can make a good profit off of it."

"No seriously, it is crazy how easy it is to steal bikes and turn a profit."

"We will show you how to start your own bike theft ring, but dont do this... it is bad."
